From time to time we get an inquiry for a small cottage or cabin, either as a guest structure, or as a weekend get away. And other times it has been to answer the need for a small full time residence for a couple or a single individual.
This little guest cottage design is a mere 512 square foot in size, and offers a shared kitchen / living / Murphy bed sleeping option, along with a full bath, mechanical room, a rear shed porch, and a front gabled porch. It may also serve as a swimming pool house with a vaulted ceiling and with exposed heavy timber roof beamery.
Our timbered pavilion offers a nice pairing with a swimming pool. It addition to the finely crafted Douglas Fir timber framing, utilizing pegged timber framed joinery in combination with handcrafted round log roof purlins. A kitchen / dining / and grilling center, with a wet bar and fireplace, and plenty of alfresco seating provide an excellent summertime gathering location for family and friends. A garden shed for all of the gardening activity coordinates with with the cottage and the pavilion, with stained shingle siding and it's standing seam roof.
