The Country Homestead - A New Vision

Updated: Jan 18, 2021

When thinking back of days of old, when blessed countryside homes were always something uniquely special, there is nothing that compares with the warm memories that so often emerge again and again. In many cases, even squeaky floors and stair steps, drafts from the windows and doors, and very modest furnishings were the least of the worries of owners, as well as from relatives, neighbors, and welcomed friends who returned as often as possible. In all likelihood it was the the inhabitant's love, and kindness, and selflessness that crowned the home with peace and comfort. And a Sunday dinner gathering was always so welcome as the fellowship and sharing of one's heart and soul restored everyone for the next week ahead. Of a lasting certainty, a memorable home and lifestyle tugs warmly at most everyone's heart.

In that spirit and goal, our new design has been created. Granted, the squeaky floors and steps, and breezy drafts are not included in our "amenities menu", but the warmth and welcoming ambience is instilled for many generations to come. With that said, here is a pictorial preview of The Country Homestead. A bit larger than the average country dwelling, but with all the love and care that calls folks back home. And with a special 'thank you' to our friend, Alexandra for her fondness for diamond light glass grills and stained leaded glass, and for the copper slipper tub preference in the Master Bath. The inclusion of this exterior glass option significantly impacted this design, elevating it to a distinct "stand alone" level, while the copper tub weighs in as a much welcomed upgrade.
